As two of the leading directories of wholesalers and drop shippers, Worldwide Brands and Salehoo are often talked about in forums of eBay sellers and e-commerce entrepreneurs.
But how do they compare in terms of value for money? Is Worldwide Brands really worth about five times as much as the price to join Salehoo?
Worldwide Brands: Larger Directory, Higher Price
Worldwide Brands is a directory of certified suppliers – wholesalers, drop shippers, etc. – and there are about 16 million products available to search through from 8,000+ suppliers in the World Wide Brands members area.
Worldwide Brands and Salehoo both come with extras like forum access, support and training – as well as some really useful market research tools as well.
Worldwide Brands costs $299 to join – this is a one off fee, but it is quite high.
Salehoo: Better Value for Money
Salehoo has about the same number of suppliers (in all the same categories) as Worldwide Brands – but fewer products in their database. That's not necessarily a problem though – as they have the same number of suppliers, and many are the same across both directories.
Salehoo is much cheaper at $67, and is a great starting point for any new online business or eBay seller, although Worldwide Brands is also a great directory. Therefore, Salehoo, in my opinion offers the best value for money.
